FEC Services is the UK’s leading energy consultancy with specialist expertise in the farming and horticulture sectors.

As well as our work in agriculture where we use the Farm Energy name,

we use our Gateway Energy Solutions identity in commercial and industrial activities.

We supply a range of consultancy services including bespoke research project development, training, audit and energy management schemes. Our client base is extensive, ranging from small businesses, through to Government departments, levy funded bodies and international utility companies.

In each case our service is tailored to suit the individual requirements of the client; whether advising on renewable energy options or CCL discount for small businesses, specialist training for utility companies or developing and delivering national energy management schemes for Government.

Our History

The company history goes back to the early 1960’s, when we were part of the nationalised UK electricity industry and known as the Farm Electric Centre.

Following privatisation of the UK energy industry, FEC widened its expertise to cover a range of energy sources including gas, LPG, oil and renewable energy. In 2000 FEC’s management purchased the company from its previous owners and established FEC Services Ltd as a private limited company. Since then the company has established itself as one of the UK’s leading consultancies in energy management with a particular expertise in Agriculture and Horticultural business areas.
