Publications

FEC Services have published over a hundred handbooks and leaflets dealing with the technical issues associated with the efficient use of energy in farming and horticulture. These range from the application of lighting in farm buildings to the use of dehumidification for grain drying and the heating and ventilation of livestock buildings. The portfolio of publications has built up over many years to provide a comprehensive catalogue covering just about every application in agriculture.

Case history - Livestock handbook

FEC's handbook Controlled Environments for Livestock Buildings, is regarded as the main practical reference for the basic design of livestock heating and ventilation systems. It has been used for many years by building designers to ensure that the environment for housed animals is optimised.
