Expertise includes energy monitoring, temperature humidity and light measurement, power quality measurement including harmonics and disturbances and thermal imaging. A clear and independent report setting out the characteristics and benefits of a piece of equipment can help to endorse a product with prospective customers and is therefore an important marketing tool.

Case study

Crop storage and drying specialists Octagon Products approached FEC following some technical problems on a grain drying installation where the fire control system was overheating.

FEC Services used power quality analysis tools to spot some inconsistencies in the way the four large grain drying motors were starting and recommended some wiring alterations to solve the problem.
