Online reporting will mean that we can reduce the time taken through sending out Excel spreadsheets and paper based forms. It will also mean that the information can be filled out at times that are more suitable to the growers meter reading procedures. The big benefit to farming and growing businesses is that it will allow them to receive rapid feedback for the first time based on the data as it is posted on the website. The site will be able to provide real-time analysis of energy management information. Users will be able to make comparisons with previous energy figures and receive online progress reports. This will therefore provide timely information on how they are proceeding against their CCL targets and allow them to manage their energy use accordingly.
