Case study -
Valley Grown Nursery

A research project we undertook at sweet pepper
growers, Valley Grown Nurseries in the Lea Valley
has turned in annual energy savings in excess of
£130,000 through the use of better climate control,
the application of thermal screens and the insulation
of heat dump tanks.
The second year of operation of this project showed
that sustained attention to detail on energy issues
can yield very significant savings.
