Case study - Bedfordia Group
Bedfordia Group have adopted innovative anaerobic
digestion systems to treat the slurry from their pig
unit sites, generating electricity for the grid, reducing
emissions and producing quality nutrient rich digestate
which can be used on their arable crops.

In developing a new pig farm complex they came to
FEC Services for advice on the feasibility of piping
reject hot water 2.4km from the digester generator
cooling systems to provide heat for farrowing and
weaning accommodation.
