Responsible for commercial and technical management of projects involving energy supply and energy efficiency for agricultural and horticultural business (with specific specialist knowledge in the protected horticulture sector). Work involves identification of novel solutions to energy related problems, presentation of solutions to clients and the management of project implementation.

Key Skills
In-depth technical expertise relating to efficient energy utilisation technologies in agricultural, commercial, industrial and domestic premises. Excellent knowledge of a wide range of fuel types including electricity, gas, fuel oils and renewable energy sources. In-depth experiences of the UK energy supply industry. Proficient in energy/environmental auditing and the identification of novel solutions to energy-related problems. Good communicator with an aptitude for presenting proposals/solutions to clients at a senior level. Recent experience has also been related to the UK Climate Change Levy (CCL) and advising Government departments (e.g. Defra), trade associations (National Farmers Union, Horticultural Development Council etc) and leading agricultural/horticultural companies on the impact of CCL in the agricultural, horticultural and primary food production industry sectors. Knowledge extends to negotiated energy saving agreements, energy efficiency action plan formulation, energy reporting etc.
